Here is the step-by-step guide of how we create estimates for our clients Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Hydraulic or Building projects.

  1. Document Review

Once our team receives your request for a quote and the required documents, we read through and analyse all project documentation. We will then identify the scope of works and assign your project an estimator.

  1. Take-offs Labour and Material

Using Bluebeam, our team undertakes measurements and calculations of all materials required. This is then reviewed through our rigorous QA process after step 4.

  1. Supplier Liaison

Using the information provided on your client detail form; we will send out requests for pricing on your behalf to your nominated suppliers. We will then manage the full RFQ process.

  1. Quote Sheet

Using the quotes received from your suppliers, we populate our customized excel spreadsheet. We then apply unit install rates per item based on the project type, complexity, and location. Using your nominated mark-ups, and labour rates, we build up the estimate to completion.

  1. Clarifications and Submission

On your behalf we write a detailed submission letter, covering any discrepancies in the document, highlighting any risks, inclusions, exclusions, and any assumptions made.

  1. Handover

Held via a phone call, Zoom, Skype, email, or meeting when possible. Your estimator will discuss the project in detail, answer any questions, and highlight any important information so you can be across your project. You then review, make any tweaks to the pricing, and submit or enable us to do so on your behalf.
